Who we are
This website is operated by ISHA — International Skin & Hair Academy ("ISHA", "we"), Kochi, Kerala, India. For any privacy question or request, email dncc1969@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Application and registration details you enter in our forms: name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, qualification, specialty, medical registration number, city/country, programme of interest, conference options and any message.
- Technical data sent automatically with a submission: IP address and browser user-agent (used to prevent spam and abuse).
- Campaign data: if you arrive from an advertisement or link, the campaign parameters in that link (such as utm_source, gclid or fbclid), the first page you visited and the referring website.
Why we use it
- To process your application or conference registration and contact you about it by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To verify your medical registration before confirming a seat.
- To send you a receipt and programme information you have asked for.
- To understand which of our campaigns bring applications, so we can improve them.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse.
We rely on your consent, given when you submit a form. We do not sell your personal data.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted service providers to run this website and handle submissions:
- Supabase — secure database for applications.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
- Our website platform and its email-delivery service — to send confirmation and notification emails.
- Google Fonts — to display the website's typefaces.
Some providers may process data outside India. We share only what each provider needs to perform its service.
Cookies, storage and measurement
Always on (needed for the site to work). Your browser stores your cookie choice (for up to 12 months), the advertisement or link you arrived from (until you close the tab; it is sent to us only if you submit a form) and a short summary of your application for the confirmation page. None of this is used for advertising.
Website platform. Our website platform (Lovable) adds two small scripts to every page: ~flock.js, which counts page views and measures loading speed through this website's own address and sets a first-party session cookie that expires after 30 minutes; and __l5e/events, which reports technical errors so the site keeps working. Session recording is not enabled, and neither script uses advertising cookies.
Analytics and advertising cookies: we do not currently use any. If we add them, they will load only after you agree in a consent notice, and this section will list them.
WhatsApp. When you tap a WhatsApp button, the prefilled message includes the page and campaign you came from, so our team knows what you were reading. You can edit or delete it before sending.
How long we keep it
We keep application data for as long as needed to manage your application and any programme you join, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correct or update inaccurate data;
- erase your data, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw your consent to further contact at any time.
Email dncc1969@gmail.com with your request and application reference (if you have one). Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.
Grievances
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, contact us at dncc1969@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
